The Graduating Class Of '64 The Junior and Senior Class Officers lead the grand march. Royce Vander- lindeng Ken Angus, Senior Class Presidentg Nancy Strappazon, Junior Class Vice Presidentg Gabe Catz-Alagong Kathy Johnsong Mick Maxwell, Senior Class Vice President: Carol Hrivnak, Junior Class Secretaryg Bob McTee. The Prom Committee Chairmen followed the Class Officers in this high point of the evening. f . tv lffff ggi -Q .s is si . s Vglfihs .M .,-. Ziiiiilfif f 'W-1fz:' The Golden Gate Bridge completed the skyline of the San Francisco scene on the west wall. Italian lights were suspended along the span of the bridge to highlight the silhouette. 137

can tx, tttg l ' ' ' was , 136 ' , w,-.' The Roy Gordon Orchestra serenaded the traditional formal affair from the ship's bridge . At eleven bells, the ship's horn sounded and smoke poured from the stack. Portholes and signal flags completed the nautical scene. The annual Junior-Senior Prom is the highlight of the school social calendar. The Juniors, under the supervision of the counselors, plan and decorate the Prom as a final gift to the graduating Seniors. The Junior Class Officers begin their selection of Prom committee chairmen late in December. Sue Sharp and Craig McKeown were the General Chairmen of the Prom of '64, The General Chairmen organize and co- ordinate the individual committees under their super- vision. After months of planning, the Prom is finally assem- bled the Friday of the dance. The Juniors are able to 'fditchi' legally and escape from their classrooms for one short day to decorate. The Prom gradually takes shape as the decoration crews labor late into the afternoon. The many hours of debating, planning, arguing, and, at last, decorating draw to a close as the dance finally begins. Two palm trees and a grass shack composed the tropical island scene that could be viewed from the ship's deck . Bon Voyage Bids Farewell to ll x' V.,,, The Dutch scene in the East hall was an interesting place to stop for conversation. A Windmill with revolving blades and a tulip garden were surrounded by a white picket fence.

'6Daisies Wonit Tell Announces The Coming Of Spring On April 24 the Sophomore Chorus presented its annual semi-formal dance, Femmes Fancyf' The combined gyms were decorated with hundreds of paper daisies to the theme Daisies Won't Tell? Couples danced to the music of Bill Carnegie and his orchestra. This popular spring dance was planned and decorated entirely by sophomores, and it is the first social event that they present to the school. The grand march is led by Carol Gursh, Larry Lindstrom, Linda Vernel, Tony Rousonelos, Sue Bishup, Joe Marconi, Sue Wehr- spann, and Ronald Silc. 138 1923 al ei' Eff' Jan Nolden, Marie Sclarounos, Sue Jones, and Sue Kempe search for a place to 'lplant a daisy. Debby Young and Linda Kubinski decorate the archway which will serve as the picture backdrop.
