BRANDYWINE SINGERS CAPTIVATE HoMENANNY AUDIENCE I-l i l 4 , S Mr. Zaida gives a 'ishort oratory introducing the Brandywine Singers at the get-acquainted session in the JJC cateteria. y has Students were invited to meet the Brandywine Singers personally over coffee and cookies. The Brandywine Singers llett to right-Hal Brown, Rick Shaw, Dave Craig, Fred Corbett, and Ron Shawl entertain with folk songs, The audience was invited to sing along. The Brandywine Singers, a popular folk- singing group, made a big hit with the Homenanny audience. The Homecoming Hootenanny served as a prelude to the Homecoming activities sponsored by the Student Council. Rick Shaw, Ron Shaw, Dave Craig, Fred Corbett, and Hal Brown captivated the audience with their musical talents, vocal abilities, and very definite touch ot humor. ft l Hal Brown, the Brandywine Singers' vile bass player was a highlight ot the concert. He is shown here playing his bass vile. He did, however, leave it long enough to as- sume the role of Prince Charming and con- gratulate Queen Mary Ann with a kiss.

'K-25' Leaders are made, not born was the Topic of discussion by Dr. Kinney at the Leadership Conference. The only problem here is deciding what to eat first. Some JJC students participated in a Leadership Conference at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The stu- dents attending were separated into several groups and given a problem to solve. They were instructed on how to conduct a meeting, discuss a problem within a group, and come up with a solution. These groups then discussed their prob- lem with the other groups. Dr. Kinney gave a talk on the topic, Leaders are made, not born. w What's the problem? Planning the event of the evening are from left, Don Dixon, Terry Ziesmer, and Tom Hankinson. i .
