Zfvmarrvufis' Zifkeus Commencement exercises on June 3 will end college days at ,UC for the sophomores. For some, it will mark six years of attendance, including high school, behind these ivy-covered walls and for others, just two years of college. , Graduation, in a sense, is the end of a lot of fun, mixers, football and basketball games, parties, formal dances, and so forth. However, it also recalls to us some of the premieres of the school established by this class. Major first events include: Homecoming, alumni dance, new attendance program for college classes, new scholarship program, formation of an independent social coun- cil to plan college events calendar, formation of Veterans' and Booster clubs, first year- book in five years flnal development of the college lounge remodeling of the smoker and dedication of a monument Graduation 1snt the end but rather the beginning of tomorrow s dream, for with the diploma one becomes a full fledged citizen of city state and nation Secretary Treasurer ISecond Semester! .mr.A..m.d4c '...4a...e...... aw.-uMw..fu warm 9 9 l 9 . . , - . . , . 7 7 1 ' 1 ' t N 2 3 I - ,.i, TED WEBBER ' Ni? 4 ei e 4 'E , V , 3323-s
