in Science Crash Program The Mathematics department has a wide range of offerings. One year of mathematics is required for graduation. Although some college-bound stu- dents terminate their high school mathematics after Geometry, the doors to many colleges are closed, if no other high school mathematics courses are taken. The students in the X class program have a more rigorous course throughout the four years. For example, Plane and Solid Geometry are covered in two semesters, thus allowing time for Analytic Geometry later in high school. In addi- tion they are able to learn to use a slide rule, partial fractions, and infinite series. Y X 31 'Y 0 fl ff Xl.
