mgue Program Ajjfords Distributive Education and Office Occupa- tions are vocational training programs in which school and business cooperate to pro- vide specialized training for seniors who are considering a career in business after grad- uation from high school or college. One of the program's main objectives is to help the student make the adjustment from high school to that which follows graduation, full-time employment or college. Students may be employed in any business which has a produce or service to sell. Em- ployment will be mainly in selling. advertis- ing, display. merchandising. office routines or other areas of work related to the sale of the product or service of the business. The student is rated frequently on the job by his employer and supervisors. Words of wisdom and practical advice appear con- spicuously on bulletin boards regularly to help guide students involved in the coop business training pro- gram.
