We, The Seniors of 1958, Think if only fiTTing ThaT before The acfual celebraTion of The Jubilee begins we dedicaTe our yearbook To The man who has labored for The sTudenTs aT Cafholic High for The pasT Twenfy-five years, Bro. Joseph MarTin. Bro. Joe, as he is beTTer known, came To JolieT in The Fall of 1933, shorTly afTer The CarmeliTes Took charge of CaTholic High. He has re- mained here ever since. During The years in beTween, Bro. Joe has become a real parT of CaTholic High. We cannoT point ouT anyThing specTacular in Bro. Joe's career, simply because he isn'T The specTacular Type of person. He iusT did his ordinary jobs exTraordinarily well. WheTher iT was geTTing up long before dawn on cold winTer mornings To fire The furnaces, or answering The doorbell or Telephone dozens of Times a day, or sweeping a corridor in The school - iT was all The same To Bro. Joe. He was doing whaT God wanfed him To do. So iT is our privilege, as Seniors of 1958, To express The graTiTude of The generaTions of sTudenTs aT CaTholic High for whom Bro. Joe worked so faifhfully. We cannoT hope To express ThaT graTiTude fully, buT we will ask Our Lord To reward Bro. Joe as only He can.
