emor Glass History FIRST QUARTER On August 27, l95.L, eleven green, inexperienced players entered the Joioe floor The members of the class elected Ronnie Calgaard, Captain, Bonnie Lamodt, Co Captain, Carol Lrneson Seorekeeper and manager To report the news they elec ted Marjorie Kallheim Lyle Opheim took over coaching responsibilities Our experienced Sophomore team initiated us On this important event we traveled to Northwood for our State Speech and Hearing Test all which proved to be very fatal, even though we scored high in our tests SECOND QUARTER The second quarter started out with the following elections Captain is Roger Christiansen, Co Captain, Harold Sherwood,Scorekeeper, Ronnie Calgaard, Manager, Paul Fibelstad, reporter, Bonnie Aamodt The coach was Lyle Opheim Fr nmT:.1.s experienced Sophomore team proved fatal to the green, inexperienced new es n THIRD QUARTER 'Ihis quarter started out with a bang lith the election of Captain being Keith Brue, Co Captain, Marjorie Kallheim, Scorekeeper, Gloria Tenold: Manager, Carol Arneson, Reporter, Gary Knutson Mrs Ennnons took over the coaching res ponsibili ties . Receiving our class rings was the biggest basket made by the Juniors. The most important play given by the Juniors was 'Happy Holiday' The cast consisted of MI' Bagley Harold Sherwood Parkington Richard Winden Kimber Kendall Gary Knutson Geraldine Kendall Bonnie Aamodt Bbrace Smith Paul Fibelstad Clara Ann Smith Marjorie Kallheim William Evans Roger Christiansen Penelope Mitchell Carol Arneson Jefferson Mitchell Keith Brue We really started decorating up the place when we began working on the Junior Senior Banquet, which proved to be a grest success FOUR TH QUAR TER We as the triumphant seniors elected Bonnie Aamodt Captain, Gloria Tenold, Co Captain, Marjorie Kallheim, Scorekeeper, and Carol Arneson, Manager Our reporter being Ronnie Calgaard, with two coaches taking over the responsibilities, being Mr John Ennen and Mr Thomas McLaughlin The most important play made by the seniors was, 'The Ruggles vbwere happy to have a timeout while the juniors prepared the junior senior banquet This game which you see, has been played with no bad plays Not losing any players all through high school The team members who worked so hard, especially on the Senior Annual were Bonnie Aamodt, Carol Arneson, Marjorie Kallheim, Gloria Tenold, Keith Brue, Ronnie Calgaard, Roger Christiansen, Paul Fibelstad, Gary Knutson, Harold Sherwood, and Richard Winden Winning all games, we the class received many trophies for speech, music, dramatic work, sports, and studies We as a team have been an outstanding club, never to be forgotten Out names shall go down with great pride as the team of 'SS' of the Joice High School Gloria Tenold and Carol Arneson Mr McLaughlin Bow, Paul, what are you doing learning something?
