CLASS PRGPHECY It is the year 1960 and the class of 1955 is holding their reunion at Lois Craven's ranch in Texas, she married a rich oil man, As I arrived I was greeted by Elaine Baker. She is now married and has twin boys. She also teaches piano in her own home. As I entered the ranch I saw Shirley Pearce, who is now the wife of a Iohnsville farmer. After I unpacked I joined the rest of the group on the back lawn. It was good to see the class again and find out what they are doing. I was glad to see Charlotte Baker as she is now a private secretary to Les Baxter. Gary Beam is now the owner of a chain of stockcar racers, and he is also the President of the National Stockcar Association. Maxine Shaffer is teaching school in Mansfield, Mass. Her husband is head of the biology lab, Before we ate lunch, Ronald White was asked to give the prayer, I was informed he is now minister at the North Woodbury Luthern Church. As I enjoyed my lunch I met some more of our classmates. Lyle Snavely has worked his way up to head football coach at Bowling Green. Clayton Fry now has a big ranch in Oklahoma and has lassoed the cutest cowgirl in the west. Mary Lou Taylor has her own dress shop on Fifth Av. in New York, Mary Lou's original customs are modeled by the famous Powers Model Jackie D'Isa. Phyliss Burson is now married with a family of three, She ships fresh orchids to America every day from her orchid farm in Hawaii. Ila Carpenter is the Editor of the Johnsville Star, the daily newspaper. Beatrice Clever is very busy, because she manages a chain of Isaly Stores. Russell Downs became a fur trapper soon after graduation and his wife has the most beautiful mink coat I have seen. Then I saw Joyce Crawford, she now has her own T.V. show. The Crawford Cuties are seen daily on J. H, S, Channel I, Look at the diamond and mink, Oh ir's Shelby Riffe. She is the President bf the First National Bank of Johnsville. Oh yes, that's Leroy Sargent, he has just completed a new dictionary. He is still single due to the fact that he used such big words the poor girl didn't know when to say yes.
