CLASS HISTORY Early m the month of September 1942 a class assembled wxth the1r teacher Mrs Mary Ward They were startmg the bulldmg process as does an automoblle on an assemblv l1ne The teachers are the mechamcs on these speclal cars each addmg DIGCGS to them These autos advanced from one rack to another untxl flnally they were on rack number elght By th1S tlme there were 47 of these speclal cars on the rack The xmportant events of th1s tlme were The Elghth and Nlnth Receptlon and the Elghth Grade State Tests The assembly l1ne moved forward once agam and we reached the nmth rack By th1s tlme each car possessed lts frame and lts body Here the motor was added the lnstallatlon of the motor took place around the Halloween Party gmven b5 Nancy Cass and the Elghth Grade Receptlon whxch we enJoyed gxvlng to the E1ghth Graders The cars that left the rack at th1s polnt were Duane Blshop J uanlta Jolly Dorothy Ward Howard Huston and Paul Zackman We galned Dale Wlflck Ernest Webb Jane Crunkllton and Ph1l1p Mlchael Once agaln the cars moved forward on the assembly llne We had now reached the tenth rack where we recelved our wheels The b1gg6St Iosmg of qulte a few cars They were Sylvla Bachelder Ronald Blllotte Jack Pursley Charles Pursley Shlrley Davls Lawrence Holloway Donna Hr1es1k Edwm Rlnehart Sylvla Carper and Dale W1Y1Ck Havmg lost these we galned Ronme Frey and Delores Vlpperman makmg a total of 31 cars Agaln the cars moved onward down the assembly l1ne to the eleventh rack The advlsor here bemg Mrs Burch Here we galned the starter Some of the outstandlng events that took place around ltS lnstalllng were the recelvlng of our class rlngs the Junxor class play Crazy but Cute a party glven by Lo1s Baker and the Junlor senlor banquet Some cars left the lme at th1s polnt too They were Carl Bull Ron n1e Frey Gllbert Rush Imo Jean Hershner Jean Gould Ernest Webb and Shlrley Walter Here we galned V1rg1n1a Armstrong maklng a total of 28 cars. l 7 , . . , . 7 . .
