6' And jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. J.M.S . has accepted this as its yardstick for measuring growth. We have tried through various snaps and write-ups to portray this fourfold school program . The staff wishes to express sincere thanks to parents, teachers, classmates, and friends for help- ing to make this 1957 Mem-O-Re a reality. L.J.s.

' The School Board consists of nine men, chosen annually by the patrons . The Board represents all the congregations of the Johnstown District churches . They represent a good cross section of activities, thus bringing together ideals and ideas from these various fields to be used in giving personality to the school . Monthly meetings are held to discuss problems of the school as they are pre- sented by various groups or persons. Financing the school has been a major problem for the Board . Progress has been made in the new addition to the building but many items are undone due to circumstances beyond our control. We do pay tribute to the patrons who have stood by us in meeting the budget. Such a great work as ours ca.nnot prosper with out the wholehearted prayer and financial support of every patron. We are grateful to our faithful, untiring staff of teachers for their high ideals to bring the best to our boys and girls . May the Lord's richest blessings be oursg teachers, board members, and patrons as we join together our prayers and fi- nances to successfully achieve with the Lord the desire of our hearts, a Christian education for our children. 4 This page sponsored by TERRACE CHEVROLET CO.
