Religious Life Committee For Christian students, Chapel is a period of refreshment, edification and encouragement., It is also a period which strengthens our spiritual lives and helps us be more like the Master. Our daily Chapel messages are brought to us by Bro, Shetler and Bro. Bauer with the exception of Fridays. On Friday the Religious Life Committee plans a special program to be presented by the students or a special speaker. We as students appreciate the provision which has been made in our full schedule when we can quietly meditate and listen to the teaching of God's Word. During the school term they made numerous appearances in school functions and in churches of the Johnstown area, both of our denomination and others. They also sang over our local radio station in connection with our regular local program. During the month of June, 1953, they cllmaxed the year with a tour covering sixteen states, representing not only our own school but the cause of Christian educa- tion. Accompanied by the principal and his wife, the Gospel I-Iarmonalres thus extended the work of our school beyond the borders in a way that may not soon be duplicated. From the testimonies received, the tour proved to be a blessing to the group as well as to the churches. 23
