School Board The School Board of Trustees is composed of nine memhers representing the participating congregations within the Iohnstown District, with not more than two elected from any one congregation. They are chosen annually at the regular meeting held during the last month of each term. The Board meets monthly, at which time a general oversight in the develop- ment, management, and conducting of the School is made. It is also the duty of the Board, in addition to their regular duties, to act in the capacity of a Reli- gious Welfare Committee, in conjunction with the Ministerial Body of the Iohns- town District Mennonite churches, to safeguard the spiritual interests of the School. At its regular meeting in the month of April, the Board elects the Principal of the School and the teachers for the ensuing term of school. During the last month of each term of school the Board has an annual meeting for the patrons and other interested persons, at which time reports are suhmitted and other necessary busi- ness transacted, endeavoring to maintain the co-operation of all persons concerned. for the general and spiritual welfare of the School.
