Kolb, Secretary. Girls' Athletic Association The G.A.A., which consists of fourteen girls, meets twice a month. We are trying to operate in the order of camp girls. While not much was done during the cold winter months, we engaged in various sports, such as volleyball, soccer, ping- pong, and hiking. This year we are buying a badminton set, an outdoor game similar to tennis. The club helps us to get out in the open and enjoy the wonderful things God has given us. Boys' Athletic Association During the winter months we lengthened and widened the ping-pong tables to regulation size, and painted them. Ping-pong, checkers, and Chinese checkers tournaments were the most prominent indoor games. As spring approached we bought baseball equipment. When the weather was nice we played baseball and other outdoor games. All of us were glad for this extra recreational period twice a month. -2g- Adviser: D. Pehley: I. Beisel: M. Hunting and Fishing This club, composed of a small group of enthusiastic sportsmen, engaged in such activities as: hunting ot small and large game, coon hunting, a Christmas Bird Count sponsored by the National Audubon Society, and a live-predator-killing contest with the winner receiving a free subscription to the Pennsylvania Game News. A visit to the club by the local game protector, and a day spent with him afield setting rabbit traps in closed hunting areas to secure rabbits for release, and placing corn for wild ducks was a high light of the year. The year's reward, however, was a trip to the lack Miner Bird Sanctuary, Kingsville, Ontario. Photography Club The officers of our club are as follows: president, Eva Miller, vice-president, Laura Shetlerg secretary, Ruth Thomasg treasurer, Betty Yoder, adviser, Sanford Shetler. The club is composed of seven members whose purpose is to learn how to take, develop, and print pictures. The club meets in the home of the adviser. During our club period we have been taking snapshots, developing and printing pictures. We are all looking forward to the time when we will have a fully equipped room in doing further photographic work. STANDING: I. Miller. R. Yoder. SITTING: I. E. Lohman. S. Shetler, D. Shetler.
