You can't lean on the success of your parents. That's their success. And don't be held back by their failures. Makes no difference what they did or didn’t do. You jest stand on yer own two feet. The world belongs to you as much as to the next feller. Don't give it up. And try not to be skeered o’ people not liking you - jest you try likin’ them. Jest keep your faith and courage and you’ll come out all right. Not one for silly chatter. Of course, I like to talk, But I guess we could get along. He's really awfully handsome, Tall and tan and strong. .. He's got a steady job. And he seems to get good pay. He's really quite dependable ( A girl feels secure that way ). What's more, he's got ambition. You can tell that he'll go far. He seems to be about everything That most men claim they are. So yesterday he popped the “ Big Question after class. I swear that I heard bells ring, And saw a few lights flash. I’ve now weighed every risk, And considered every chance, And have decided to accept his Invitation to the dance. 166 IN JUNE. . . 167 O 2 CD H T3 c ) C PO o x n CAMELOT In Rehearsal . . . a 1 51N3UJ351iy3AnU ELSIE’S LA VILLA BEAUTY LOUNGE Unisex Hairstyling J.
