ANN ASHLEY Miss Ashley is another new- comer to J. H. S. In girls' athletics she is the best From Illinois they say she hails When shooting baskets she never fails. WILLIAM A. WRIGHT When you think there is trouble in sight Don’t fail to see Mr. Wright His good and helpful advice is a rule As principal of our school. SID AYERS Mr. Ayers is our guidance teacher He points us out the way Teaching us how to drive is his other feature It's a wonder he isn't gray. CAROLYN T. BARTER Mrs. Barter was new this year We were certainly glad to have her here She teaches business down in room 5 And also advises the Girls' Hi-Y. VIRGINIA C. CAVORETTO Teaching secretaries of fu- ture years Is Miss Cavoretto's task She brings expertisse into their careers So if you have any questions, just ask. LELAND P. BRADY If you were stumped and didn't know Who reigned in England one hundred years ago Just ask Mr. Brady he'll tell you who He knows SS10 through and through. CLAUDE CHRISTMAN He teaches metal and auto mech To all the boys in High They tease him till he must be a wreck But they all agree that he's a nice guy.

DILLENBECK Friends, Romans and coun- trymen Here is every student's friend Livening her classes with a spark Trying to get each a pass- ing mark. MELISSA B. DUNHAM Mrs. Dunham teaches the girls To trim their nails and comb their curls She also teaches how to sew And how to pick the per- fect beau. EDITH B. DUNLAP Mrs. Dunlap was our class advisor Helped put on our Junior Prom She did a lot to make us wiser And drove to school in a little green bomb. ” JAMES A. GARWOOD He's a very busy one When the presses start to run The advisor of the paper of Sir Bill In English teaching he also shows much skill. MISS EVELYN E. ELWOOD Thanks to her or we'd never have A library where we can gab She doesn't seem to mind at all But I'll bet she's glad when we leave study hall. MISS GERTRUDE GREWEN Although she's small She's packed with fun Her pupils always have a ball 'Cause she's ready with a French pun.
