Eyes of fire are only part of Helen's visible attributes. This gal's sparkle helped pilot the wild girls in the Hi -Y through a successful year. A friendly smile and big brown eyes are her treasures. MANNO, ROBERT I . Personality plus describes our basketball captain, but it doesn't do him justice. Her assets were appreciated in biology and health which wouldn't be quite the same with- out her. McCAULEY, EDWARD A. Ed's sense of humor has helped him in his near misses of pedestrians and fellow auto drivers quite as much as in those would-be dull classes. Quel wit! MCFADDEN, ROBERT H. MORAN, TERRENCE E, Captain Moran, the pride ofJ.H,S, gave our team what he gave our school -- his loyalty, good humor, and team spirit. MEE, BRIAN THOMAS Ll-l,S,'s All-American is a three letterman with a triple -A personality. Little wonder he was chosen most athletic. As quarterback, he sparked our team to an undefeated, untied season. MILLER, IEANNE MARIE Tranquility with a smile is Jeanne. A nature lover--this big, friendly guy loves to fish--whether it's mermaids or just bullheads! MURPHY, PATRICIA LEE Pat's well-rounded personality makes her nice to know and easy to like. There's nothing like her grin to melt the gloom from our hallowed halls, and brighten up everything with her own personal sunshine. NEUBERGER, JOHN W, Tiny is a whiz with a wrench. She is always ready for excitement and usually finds lt. SILVER, CHARLOTTE S. Magambo came to J,H,S, during her Junior year Since then she has kept school lively with her numerous jokes and comments. All kidding aside, she's a swell girl. SIMEK, FRANCIS F. Butch proved to be a great help to our 'fighting 11 this year. He certainly displayed ability to Hold that line. 'Y Also likes to make with the witty comments. SITTERLY, M, ADRIENNE One of our prettiest Senior gals, Adrienne ls also quite a dancer. We all agree that Bob's a swell guy. He likes to sing and is a great admirer of Progressive jazz. Likes to tease and joke in school. SMIDA, RICHARD A. Dick comes to us every day on the school bus. Well liked by his schoolmates he is carefree and always laughing. SMITH, DONNA One of our Senior bralns, Donna served as liter ary editor on both the Bugle and Baronet. A wel- come member to any group, we know Donna will go far. SMITH, ROBERT o, Bob is a great stock car enthusiast. However, he really gets places. even in that '52 Ford. The Villain of the Senior Play, he proved to be quite a men- ace behind the wheel. SVEC, NANCY STEPHANIE Our little blond fireball. Gets the maximum of fun from her school days and also some pretty high marks. Well known also for her homely laugh. SVEC, RICHARD L, One of those lucky boys who comes to school just half a day. In the afternoon he works hard at Lorence's. Well known for his friendliness and rneticulom appearance. SWEARS, MARY LOU They say nice things come in small packages. And we certainly 'cannot say Mary Lou is not seen or known around I.H,S, STEDING, MARIE A, A cute Senior with a personality to match. You'll find her wherever there's plenty of fun and excitement. when she gets behind the wheel -- look out! STOCK, EULA ANN One of the small but very sweet members of our class, we're always glad to have Eula around. Spends her time working at I-lenry's Taxi. STUART, SHIRLEY JEAN A very active girl with a nice personality. Good both at dancing and sports. Displayed a particular affinity for jitter-bugging. STUBLEY. IEAN ANN A favorite in any crowd, Jean Ann livens things up with her laugh and witty comments. She is also a good student and serves as a literary editor of both Bugle and Baronet. THOMPSON, JAMES Duck, as he is better known, is a man-about-town in his big green Buick. Needless to say, he is one of the boys down at the Room. THOMPSON, RICHARD PERRY Active in many ac tivities, Dick gave forth in Spirit in the Senior Play as Lonesome, TOWNSEND, IEREMIAH W. Always friendly and good natured. Some of these were food sales, collecting old clothes for overseas and collecting for the Community Chest. The l-li-Y has accomplished many things this year under its capable President Helen Dageenakis Jean Cerrone has taken notes as its Secretary and Joanne Brennan has more than willingly taken care of its money. Led by Captain Bob Manno, the team improved toward the latter part of their schedule. Ably coached by Mr. M. Zoellner, their speed and agility helped compensate for an acute lack of height. Linda CHEERLEADERS In our memories of the Football and Basketball seasons we would find some dull moments if it were not for Sir Bill's cheerleaders, Their liveliness and success was due to Marjorie Wemple's pep and sparkling personality and the girls' able advisor, Miss Nancy Canedy. The Varsity that cheered the fellows to victory were Marjorie Wemple, Olivette Bunner, Kath- erine Mellis, Peggy Pemrick, Connie Marshall and Linda Currie, The Iayvees backed the Varsity and even burst forth with some new Iayvee cheers. JUNHOR RED CRUSS A new addition to our album, although not a new organization, the Junior Red Cross has earned its place in our memories. The twelve members who are elected by their fellow students have chosen Jeannine O'Luicci, Presidentg Helen McCarthy, Vice Presidentg Carol Myers, Secretaryg and Roger Vorburgh, Treasurer. Under the leadership of Mrs. Margaret M. Saunders, faculty advisor, Red Cross contributed both their time and their efforts to many needy causes. It has sponsored a fund-raising dance and don- ated money to the American Red Cross Children's Fund. The mem- bers also participated in a project to make 800 favors for the Veter- an's Hospital in Albany.
