Sir William is lohnsons seal is the symbol of our theme be' cause our class is much like the coat of arms in the center with the Indian on the lelt repre- senting the beginning of the century and the Indian on the right representing its close. We were not in any way connected with the development of the beginning of the century but we shall play a big part in what is to come at the end of the century Thus with a half a century of progress behind us we the class of 50 are left with the large task of reaching even higher goals gf ,fe 'W f f K if isps 'W lg? ,sfglt ff M Z2 NX,-,.fY. Pickering-thinks there is nothing like King and Brower to be the perfect heroes. We, of I. H. S., were happy to hear of her good res covery. Miss Ruth E. VanDuesen-came to the rescue of Mr. Wright. Does fine at running all IH. S. errands. Mrs. Helen O. Lathers-our dra- matic coach. She constantly insists that when speaking, you should use your tongue, lips, and teeth. Miss Rita E. Her popular saying is, All you nice people be quiet. Miss Evelyn E. Elwood - our compe- tent librarian. She wonders why some students just can't seem to keep their mind on library work. Mrs. Martha T. Van Derwerlcen - has charge of girl's swimming and physical ed. Her favorite saying is pivot Mr. Arch Ruport-the author of I. H. S. He is also the boys physical ed. instructor.
