Guess you got to rightly say that it wuz him who helped us to git to our goldg 'course we calls it success. Now, altho he got hisself graduated from the Central College of Iowa, he ain't no stranger 'round these parts . . . 'cause he went and attended this hyar institootion of learninf Mr. MacGregor . . . he wuz advisor to the '48 Baronet and this hyar book, too, until he went and got himself another job. Reckon everybody knows the rest . . . how he fixed up a International Relations Club . . . wuz track coach . . . assistant football coach . . . Mr. Mac- Gregor's a right friendly man . . . we miss seeing him 'round and we dedi- cate this hyar book to him for the things he went and did fer us . . . we're gonna allus 'member him . . . cause it jest ain't easy to fergit a man sech as Mr. MacGregor. Miss Cavoretto Miss Virginia Cavoretto . . . she gave us a mighty lot of help when we wuz trying hard to git to our goal and git ourselves a deeploma from high school . . . She belongs to that thar Com- mercial Department of Iohnstown High School and we reckon you know she took correspondence courses or sum- thin' from The College ot St. Rose. When we wuz first entered in the Sophomore Class, she took a purty big load off'n our backs . . . Yep, she fixed up all our aches and pains . . . It would of been plumb impossible fer us to git along without Miss Cavoretto, fer Class rings, Iunior Prom, Senior-Soph Coke Party, Senior Ball, and most best of all, Commencement Week, when we really strike gold. So, you see, it ain't hard to tell why we're gonna dedicate this hyar book to Miss Cavoretto . . .She set us a mighty fine 'xample and we reckon she wuz one guiding light over three purty nice years. 1 g- ' , -r Fr Shady in Blank Expression!
