It is this spirit of self sacrifice which has united the students of Catholic High with the faculty in a bond of under- standing seldom equalled and never surpassed. Order is the first rule of heaven, could well be the motto of Miss Will, our school secretary. Hers is thc problem of arranging multitudinous records into an orderly file. When the time was chosen for the Son of God to fulfill His mission on earth, it was Mary who became His first created home. Then from a moonlit slope without and a darkened cave within, the doors of Bethlehem's stable opened and Mary presented her Son as soundless thunder to a waiting, yet heedless world. During the past four years, the walls of Catholic High have housed these students, graduates of 1955. It is now God's chosen time that they begin their mission in life. As you once presented your Son, O Mary, to a waiting world, open wide the doors of Catholic High and present these your children also, to their world, still heedless, yet longing for the good they can accomplish for the Church and for the souls they are bound to save. if
