Principal’s Message Another year has passed and another graduating class is preparing to leave forever the sheltering walls of Catholic High School. Perhaps that word “forever” somewhat startles or even frightens you. It does sound very final, doesn't it? But it is so true. When you pass through the portals of the school on graduation night, your lives as high school students are gone, never to return. Viewed in that light, perhaps the constant dinning into your ears of principles, the almost frantic concern of your teachers that you take advantage of every opportunity, and the incessant vigilance to keep you on the path of justice and truth take on a new meaning. For, in very large part, your lives will be what you made them in high school. True, in Confirmation you received the Holy Spirit, Who enlightens your minds to know the truth, and strengthens your wills to love the good; but the Holy Spirit ordinarily uses natural means to extend and perpetuate His influence. Your Catholic High School is just such a human instrument. Our earnest prayer is that your years in high school have so illumined and fortified you that you may walk un- hesitatingly down the pathway of life, with a clear eye and a firm step, into the heaven of eternal peace. Rev. Linford F. Greinader The Spirit is within ♦ 8 Mary Solomon. Josephine Bifano, Alex Xanko, and Kd Smith check with Father Greinader before addressing students on the P. A. system.
