Having attended school for nine years she is well versed in the Word During these years instance, teaching This has given her of God. Her first year of schoo1,was in 1932. she was engaged in doing other types of workg for Summer Bible School, sewing, and doing housework. an opportunity to witness for the Lord--and her willingness to be used has encouraged others to have higher standards of Christifn living. Before attending school this year Grace was working at the telephone office of the local area. Here she rendered prove to be a blessing. a valuable community service. After Bible School she intends to give full time to the Lord. Wherever she is called we know her life will WHAT J.B.S. HAS MEANT TO ME I can truthfully say that J. B. S. has been a great factor in the molding and building of my life. It has caused me to study the Bible and created in me a desire to want to study the Bible more thoroughly. She is a zealous worker in the church in teaching Sunday school and Summer Bible School, and in her service as president of a Junior Sewing Circle. She plans to do housework at home. Ada's blessings from Bible SchOo1 were received through five terms of two-week schools, two three- week terms at Allensville, and two six-week terms at J.B.S. Christian Ethics and Pedagogy were her'high1ight studies. John 5:16. WALTER-MOORE June 22, 1921 1 Born in the Johnstown District of Southwestern Pennsylvania. His service in the local church has consisted of Sunday School teaching. He serves as president of the local tract band. He has a desire to be -a Christian doctor. In spite of a physical handicap, he is accom- plishing a surprising amount of work. His unusual character is appre- ciated by friends far and nears His challenging life is a help to youth and adults. He serves in young people's meetings and has been president of the Nap- panee LitGP8PY Society. Paul is one who is willing to lend a help- ing hand, is a conversationalist, and stable man. Before coming to sible school he was employed bv the Brethren Service Unit of Nap- panee. Romans 1019. MARGARET RERKSHIRE october- ls, 1924 A worker at Masontown Congre- ation in Southwestern Pennsvl- R , svania Conference. She has been working in the church as a li- brarian, Sundav school and Summer sible School teacher, and as a cook at Laurelville Camp. with her blend of good qualities of character, her future service in the church will certainly be a blessing to many. Sarah, a studious and energetic girl, has exercised her talents for her Master's service as a Sundav-school teacher,'member of the Scottdale Ladies' Chorus, a Sunday-school Secretarv-Treas- urer, a Sewing Circle member, and a helper in Literarv Societv af- fairs. A few years apo she felt the need of knowinf her Saviour better, and with this aim in mind has chosen to attend J.B.S. PAUL EASH September 50, 1924 A farm boy, has alwavs lived in the Holsopple Communitv. Be- sides his farming interest he has served as a helper in a carpenter crew. He is a sincere worker for the Lord, and is ready and will- ing to enter into definite miss- ion work when the Lord calls. Matthew 28:19. FLORENCE SHORT October 12, 1922 Florence attended Johnstown Bible School two terms--'40 and '47--at Leo, Indiana, two weeksg at Archbold, Ohio, eight weeks: and one vear at Hesston, Kansas.
