V 9322213.25 A little fellow at the age of nine was put into a juvenile home because his mother died, his father was a drunkard, therefore Walter had to get his meals from the neighbors. He had no affection from anyone. After he was in the home, he was visited by a Christian worker and upon leaving the little fellow said, UMay I kiss you?n He kissed him and a deep feel- ing of love was manifested between the worker and the little boy. There are many cases similar to this one. Parents are careless and Godless. Children need the Gospel as much as they need affection. Will the church meet the challenge? --Irwin Sell Zoology relates itself to the creature and the Creator. The animal kingdom is the product of the Creator. That which God created He is able to control. The creature when sum- moned must respond to the Creator's bidding. We call this a miracle. When God chooses to use a raven to feed His servant, or a dumb ass to testify against the madness of the Prophet, or a great fish to swallow Jonah, or shuts the mouths of lions so no hurt would come to Daniel, He proves that the creature is subject to the Creator. -- Elmer Moyer nwhether your name may mean 'peace', 'courage,' or 'cap- tain of the army' matters little, but what your life has packed into your name is really what it means. Consecration is necessary in order to live a victorious Christian life. I Chronicles 2925. Who then is willing to consecrate his service unto the Lord? In consecration, our time and talents are given to God for Christian service. In a definite, complete consecration there are three requisites: absolute surrender of the will: dedication of our bodies to God as a living sacrifice which is our reasonable service, and respond to the call, UHere am I, send me.H when we are willing to do these three things God can use us according to His divine will. -- Aaron Mast We need to be conscious of the presence of the Lord at all times. After Hagar had been visited by the angel, in the wil- derness hy the fountain she said, 'Thou God seest me.H She felt the Lord's presence. At times we need to see ourselves as others see us. It is very easy to see faults in others but we need to step aside and watch ourselves pass by. Let us ask ourselves a number of questions. What does my family think of me? Someone has said, Uwe are at our worst among those who treat us best.u As a Christian worker how do others see us? Are we willing, cheerful, co-operative and self-sacrificing in the work of the Lord, in order that others may see Christ in us? What do we look like to others in Bible School? What is our attitude in the class room, on the cam- pus, or in all other activities of the school?
