Head Monitors U PAUL MERRILL JIMMY TRAYWICK THE 1962-63 JOHNSTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council at Johnston is a co-ordinating organization; it acts as a binding force among the many and varied school activities, and as a link between the student body and administration. In a school the size of Johnston such a group has a tremendous opportunity and responsibility toward creating and main- taining good student-faculty relations. This year the Student Council has undertaken to accomplish this through such projects as Good Citizenship Day, morning devotionals, and an excellent monitor system, all of which demonstrate the active concern of students for their school.
