Q' f WE, THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1951, JOHNSTON CONSOLDIATED SCHOOL, POLK COUNTY IOWA,MAKE THE FOLLOWING AS OUR LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Seniors have no further use for our superior qualities and a- chievements, which we received in our long struggle through school, here at Johnston. Therefore we will these qualities and achievements to the students who follow in our footsteps, on condition that they cherish them always and use them to the best of their ability. Jim Gilligan leaves his bashfulness to Floyd Brown. Bob Harvey will his soothing voice to Jerry Zarley. Shirley Orr leaves her ability to catch a man to her sister Pat. Dorothy Crowell leaves her temper to Pauline Gilligah. Marvin Boston wills his abilitytxadrive a car with one hand to B. Thornburg. Betty Olsasky leaves her marked books and anything that is left after she leaves to Mildred Brown. Jim Anderson bestows his height and enduring love for English teachers upon Dave Schuessler. Norma Bianchi leaves her corny, petrified jokes to Janet White. Ruth Hesseltine will her excess poundage, recently lost, to Carol Inman. Howard Stifel bequeaths his basketball ability to Donella Crowell. Gladys Boyer leaves her love for taking 120 words a minute in shorthandto any misguided student ready and willing to do and die. Larry Baker wills his ambition to be a doctor of fine poultry to Fred Smith. Sallie Stirts doesn't want to leave anything, she just wants to leave. Shirley Danielson bestows her band music upon Joan Sherman. Nancy Hummel bequeaths her photographic mind to Victor Fiebig. Dick Dunn leaves his collection of fountain pens and pencil stubs to next year's bookkeeping class. Margaret Foshe wills her muscles and strength C?J to Mr. Varner. Dorothy Hosier gladly leaves her freckles to Dick Rock. Richard Howley wills his technique of telling off the girls to Jerry Clark.
