We were by far the strongest class in the assembly--until the initiation when the Seniors brought us down some. Miss Maxson took over the Job of sponsor that year. Our second year of high school was much better. We now had some under- classmen to push around. We were too glad to have Ted Miller Join us. Ted taught us all to jitterbug. Miss Fritz was our class sponsor. Our Junior year was marked by the addition of another member, Lewis Vertz. The big event of that year was the Junior Class play. We had parties after play practice and oh, what fun! Dean and Kirk got married one night while Ted played an Indian War Dance on the piano and Sufica acted as the knot-tier. We'll never forget the night after the play was over. Dean ran in and grabbed our teacher, Mrs. Sproul, and gave her a great big kiss. Of course all the other boys were after her,but she ran to her husband and they didn't get a chance. This was also the year that we threw the feed for the Senior Class--and we really threw it.They still don't have all of the gravy out of their hair. And nov we burst on that glorious year, l9H9, where mice become MEN, or something like that. We are Seniors, and Mrs. Scott is our sponsor. Every- body looks up to us. That is, everybody except Kenny Williams. We feel as though we were ready to leave and fast! So we say nGood luck' to everyone behind us, and may they be as lucky as we are.
