FURE WORD The Senior Year of the class of 1966 is nearly over. We look back n now, in the twilight of our high school years, to the days when we were freshmen, and then we think of the intellectual darkness which encompassed us. But that was nearly four years ago, and the interim period some of the darkness has been lifted. The light has begun to dawn and the darkness is being dispelled. Here, then is the 1966 HAWK. BRIEF HISTORY OF .IOH STON CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL Our school has been a standardized one since 1925. It is a union or consolidated school where grades 1 through 12 are taught. Since 1922, it has increased its faculty from 11 teachers to the present 49 teachers, and the student body has grown from 513 to the 1015 presently enrolled.
