Already offering six semesters of math besides the related math courses for vocation work, for years it has offered trigonometry for juniors and seniors, making eight semesters of mathematics available to students. Aspiring mathematicians may study algebra, general math, plane geometry, and trigonometry. In today's world, with the ever-great emphasis on science, satellite and research, the ability to express oneself in mathematical terms is becoming increasingly important. -..srl As students begin freshman year they quickly taught the study of grammar, which helped them in preparation for other assign- ments. At this time they also begin their study of the classics. Sophomores and juniors, who are yet undecided about future plans, adjust themselves to regular English classes consisting of workbooks, classics, and themes. For those who are headed for college the College Preparatory classes are choice. Here stu- dents cover more ground and do more outside projects. Mrs. Virginia B.
