Class Poem To the school we love so dear, We regret to leave you here Although our troubles have been few We'll cherish memories of you. To our parents your patience you have shown For you have never left us alone Your sacrifices are far from few But there is no way that we can thank you. To the principal and teachers too We will always remember you You, who have taught us in every way All the things we know today. To the underclassmen loving and true Hopes of success we leave with you And may you someday reach this goal That the seniors of '62 are seeking to hold. Each of us is on our way Hoping to reach success someday Our goal we have set so high We're determined to reach it by and by. Margaret Holden Walter Williams Class Song Tune: God of our Fathers I Dear training school, oh how we hate to go, But with our trust and faith in thee we must. Dear training school, your teachings we will hold And our memories will never grow old. II There is a space way in our hearts for you, Those who have been loving, kind and true. Those who have helped us each and every day In starting us on our successful way. III Even though we have to leave you now We shall return someday, somehow, And so we leave with tears in our eyes For we regret to say goodbye. Margaret Holden 27
