WORK PLAY AT N4CSGA CONFERENCE! Every quarter, the Student Government Associ- ation of JCC attends leadership conferences in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh. This past year, our SGA was selected as one of the host schools for the Spring Conference in Raleigh. At the conventions, our delegates attend work- shops, committee meetings, and official business sessions. In the evening, however, the business be- comes pleasure as the delegates are provided with music and an opportunity to mingle and meet. In photos (clockwise), Tracey Dixon and Mary Norman head to a workshop on AIDS; Mrs. M el- nick rounds up the crowd before early morning registration; Tracey, Steven Baker and Timmy take notes while participating in a legislative workshop; Michael Stanley, Jeff Snead and Michael Best take time out to shop; and, this is what Jeff and Michael look like before their morn- ing makeovers!

PKP CAUGHT RAISIN’ SAND! Phi Kappa Pi’s fall dance featured two scoops of dancin’ California raisin. Unfortunately, the dancin’ raisin photos bombed. Anyway, as you can see in photo number one, Mr. Stowers, Jean Green (former PKP president) and Mr. Jackson were in a fun raisin’ mood. In photo number two, DeeDee pours a cup of cheer while Glenn takes a snooze. In the bottom photo, Bill, Tony and Karen do the ‘ stand around’ dance. 17
