Dedication On August 11, 1969, Johnston Technical In- stitute began in a limited facility with a small staff who had great expectations for the educa- tional opportunities of Johnston County. From this ambitious beginning, J.T.I. has progressed to become a modern educational center serving every area of Johnston County and adjoining counties. Then I looked up at the sky so blue And the haze of clouds slowly floating through. Trees, still green, gently swaying, birds flying in a flock The sound of my shoes crunching on the rock. She started with the shoes of a man. They were old and worn to the point where holes almost took command. Then, she gave her imaginary person in the sand, a pair of men’s pants. They seemed to sag, and they were filled with patches. Then, she drew a bench for the person to siti n. It was old and weather-beaten. She then gave the person a coat to wear!! ! | yas old, much too big, and it too was a hand-me-down.
