This year our football team started the season with a loss, but with a lot of deter mination and hard work, ended the season with a winning record of 5-4. The first game against Nemaha Valley was lost, however, the boys quickly improved and won big in the next two games against dams and Murdock. The team contin- ued with their winning attitude by beating Dawson-Verdon and Pawnee City. The team was greatly supported by the fans who attended the games through rain or shine. It was also agreed that Johnson- Brock had a football team everyone could be proud of.
