This year's Homecoming week was different than in the past. King Mark Hoffrr.an and Queen Carol Clark were crowned on Thursday, followed by the parade down Main Street. The dance took place Friday night after the football game, as always. DJ, Les Drake played the theme song Play the Game while the King. Queen, and attendants danced the first dance. After the Royalty's dance the crowd joined them and danced until twelve o'clock midnight. Although Homecoming this year was changed from past years, it was enjoyed by all. The play was about an old man named Silas, played by Paul Connolly, who came to a farm and wanted to work. Every year at about the same time he would come around and seem ambitious, but then never really got anything done. Mary, played by Sandy Grotrian, and Warren, played by Gary Longsine were the couple. Edna, played by Arlis Caspers was Mary's friend and a real gossiper. The play was performed in competition at Peru, but failed to receive a State trip. To all involved, the play was a success and lots of funl Plea e God. help u . Why did it have to happen to u(?
