Day after day we pass through the halls of Johnson- Brock in many moods. School life is more than just studying. No one can forget that first day of high school, band trips to contests and parades, being asked to the Christmas dance, the first sight of Prom splendor, or winning a track meet be- cause one did his best. We, the annual staff hope this book recalls to you the best of J-B as days go by. Board of Education: Margaret Piper, Robert Sandfort, Ival Schmucker, Vernon Neddenriep, Daniel Gerdes, Loren Gebers. April 16, 1971, forty Seniors and their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Wright, Mrs. Max Smith, and Mr. Francis Lottman sneaked to Kansas City. The class ate at the International House of Pan- cakes and then toured the General Motors Plant. Some of the Seniors' free time was spent at the Plaza shopping and then they viewed a sky show at the city Museum. The class again had free time until time for the first of the two movies they saw; Little Big Man and Ryan's Daughter . The Great Escape The final item on the Sneak Day agenda was a mid- night snack after which, the class headed home. Every moment was filled with sheer excitement.
