SOPHOMORE TYPING CLASS After one year of high school life, the sophomores came back in full force with one new member, Don Hoskins, making thirty in all. Biology, literature, English, typing, geometry, algebra, shop, and world history were the classes that the sophomores tackled. December 23, the sophomores gave the Christmas dance. FRESHMAN SCIENCE CLASS Twenty-two freshmen entered Johnson High School on August 29. They were officially initiated into Johnson High by the seniors on September 2. The freshmen took such subjects as general math, algebra, literature, English, general science, shop, home economics, and world geography. The freshmen gave the seniors a going away dance on May 19, 1961. FIRST ROW: Margaret Rogge, secretary; Janice Remmers, news reporter.
