Chemistry, advanced math, shop, modem problems, shorthand, home economics, and English were the subjects that were attacked by the fifteen returning seniors. The seniors initiated the freshmen into high school September 2. The senior class along with the juniors visited the Legislature on March 21. The Senior play, Beef Stew, was presented April 6 and 7. On April 25, the senior girls visited manufacturing plants in Omaha. On April 26, the home economics girls visited the Agricultural College for Hospitality Day. The seniors took a Sneak Day to Kansas City on April 28. Baccalaureate and Commencement were May 14 and 16, respectively. CLASS MOTTO Character Is The Real Foundation Of All Worthwhile Success. JUNIOR ENGLISH CLASS Twenty eight juniors came back to school to be upperclassmen. They registered for a variety of subjects: American history, English, literature, bookkeeping, home economics, shorthand, geometry, world history, chemistry, and shop. The Junior class play, Two Dates for Tonight, was presented November 17 and 18. On March 21, the juniors with the seniors went to Lincoln to the Legislature. County Government Day was held in Aubum, March 23. The juniors last event of the year was the Junior Senior Banquet presented May 5.
