FUUTBH11 This year the Johnson Creek football team won the Madison Suburban Conference Championship w1th six wins and no losses This has been the first championship for Johnson Creek High School SIHCE they had a 6 man football team Opp Se t Z3 Black Earth There Sept Marshall Here Oct Deerfield Here Oct Black Earth Here Oct Marshall At Deerfield Oct Deerfield There BHSHETBHLL Nov 15 The season s opener was played at Creek with Palmyra Trail ing 19 9 at halftime Palmyra soared from behind with Z2 points in Koser Creek center collected 11 points to lead the scoring column Nov 18 Creek traveled to Marshall only to meet defeat Marshall took an early lead of 28 5 Loose defense was the main fault Ken Baneck led Creek scorers with 10 points Nov ZZ Johnson Creek played host to the Belleville five whom they easily defeated in non conference play The final score was 39 19 Creek led Belleville Z0 10 at half time and easily held down the rest of the game Ken Baneck Creek guard led scorers with Z1 points Nov 29 Creek s next game was with the Alumni by whom we were de feated Creek had a lead at the half of 13 10 ln the last period the Alumni gave a surge and the team was unable to hold them The final score was Creek Z4 Alumni 37 Jerry Moldenhauer led Creek scorers with 6 points ec Creek traveled to Waterloo with high Splflt We were again defeated but gave them a very good fight The halftime score was 14 17 in favor of Waterloo Ken Baneck led Creek scorers with four buckets and four free throws The final score was Creek 18 Waterloo Z3 32 .T.C. . p . 30 12 . 30 36 Z0 . 7 ' Z7 0 . 14 40 15 .
