a Students have the freedom of making fashion fun — a chance Smithites don ' t miss! The freshman class encountered many enjoyable activities upon their arrival at Johnson C. Smith University. One of the most outstanding activities was the fashion show La Papion . This theme was chosen by the participants because they felt La Papion (French for butterfly) expressed their charm and charis- ma. The models presented casual wear, swim wear, sports wear, after-five wear, and punk rock wear. Each category was one that left a very strong effect on the audience. However, the punk rock scene left the audience in a total uproar. The magnetism of this fashion show will long be remembered. The participants of this dynamic show were Melody, Kim- berly, Monica, Tracey, Pia, Karen, Tonya, Sabrina, Tonya, Donna, Lisa, Lori, Myrna, Dana, Octavia, Anita, Tanya, Angie, Herman, Rodney, and Terry.
