Smith University, encountered one of their most disastrous seasons. It may well be said that the Golden Bulls of ' 54 were out numbered and out manned by almost all their opposition. The Bulls of ' 54 led off with a non-impressive victory over Saint Paul at Lowrenceville, Virginia, but there after the Bull ' s faithfuls had little to cheer about as they finished the season with an unimpressive record of one win, five losses, ond two ties. Although Smith did not enjoy a winning season, the players profited greatly by his experience. Each member of the team did his utmost to uphold the Gold and Blue of which we are all proud. The task, of replacing such stars as James Kenny Vincent, Alfred Ape Brown, Alston Wampee Bellamy, Cecil Adderly and Charles Curry will be a great one. To these players we soy thanks fellows for a job well done. Here ' s hoping the Golden Bulls of ' 55 will be a good team if not great one. Good luck fellows and moke oil your blocks and tackles count. PLAYERS Name No. Ht. Wt. Pos Class Hometown Adderley, Cecil 78 5 ' 8 177 G Sr. Boynton Beach, Fla. Amos, Lee Page 29 6 ' 143 E Soph.
