Our School Johnson Bayou High School R E B E L S Behind this page, you will see the activities, events, and special things that can make a school year most suc- cessful enjoyable. It is also one of the most special memories of a graduate's life. School People Can Be Proud Of! Dedication This year's dedication is to a very special group of people. This group of people donated their time, money, and ideas to help better our school. These people came to our school activities such as — Basketball Games, Track Meets, Sweetheart Pageant, Harvest Festival, School Plays, Athletic Banquet, and GRADUATION. They also worked to pass the bond issue to improve our school facilities. They stood behind our school when contro- versies arose between us and other schools. The manner in which they acted made us very proud to be children and grandchildren of these people. You might ask just who these people are? Well, if you supported us in one of the activities which we listed above, then YOU are one of this special group . We THANK YOU for all you've done for us. For without your help, we could not have had a successful and enjoyable year as we had. Everything! Howard Romero Principal ANOTHER YEAR HAS COME AND GONE. WE HAVE SEEN SOME GOOD TIMES AND SOME BAD TIMES. WE ARE PROUD TO SAY THE GOOD HAVE OUT-NUMBERED THE BAD. WE AS TEACHERS SET OUR GOALS VERY HIGH FOR THE STUDENTS AND OURSELVES AT JBHS. WHETHER IN ACADEMICS OR ATHLETICS, WE SET OUR GOALS SO WE BECOME NUMBER ONE. WHEN THE YEAR HAS ENDED AND WE LOOK BACK OVER OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND REALIZE WE HAVE NOT ACCOMPLISHED ALL OUR GOALS, WE BEGIN TO LOOK AT NEXT YEAR. BUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE SENIORS CANNOT SAY, I'LL DO IT NEXT YEAR. FOR THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE FAILED, WE OFFER YOU A CHALLENGE FOR NEXT YEAR. WE MUST REMEMBER IT WILL TAKE A UNITED EFFORT FOR US TO HAVE AN ENJOYABLE YEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND TEACHERS FOR THEIR HELP AND SUPPORT IN MAKING THIS AN EXCITING AND ENJOYABLE YEAR. 4 SUPERINTENDENT ASST.
