REBEL 1979 Dedication Loving Memories Your gentle face and patient smile with sadness we recall You had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all The voice is mute and stilled the heart That loved us well and true, Ah, bitter was the trail to part From one as good as you Kevin Romero Cynthia Badon You are not forgotten loved one Nor will you ever be, As long as life and memory last We will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore, As time goes by we miss you more, Your loving smile, your gentle face, No one can fill your vacant place. copied. Principal Howard Romero Another year has ended, and we have completed a very enjoyable and prosperous year. Each year seems to be more rewarding than the year before. Some students will have left Johnson Bayou High School through graduation by the time they read this message, but I sincerely hope we as educators have furnished them with a basic education that they can be proud of and one that will be beneficial to them in whatever occupation they may choose for life. Our divine hope as teachers is that we have developed an individual that has the willingness to work, the pride to strive for perfection, but the ability to accept defeats when they occur. To the students that remain, we anxiously await your return and hope that we will have as good a year as 1978-79. Last, but not least, 1 would like to thank the Annual Staff, students, parents, sponsors, and Mrs. Willyhugh Pulver (Faculty Representative) for making this annual the success I believe it to be. Good luck to all of you, and may you have many years of enjoyable life. 3 Alvin Trahan Central Office Staff SUPERINTENDENT Sonny McCall ASST.
