Anyone Can Join Everyo ne lias the opportunity to gel involved in a club, said Karen Campbell. I just heard about Key Club and I joined. 1 wasn ' t apprehensive at all. With the wide range of clubs and organizations at North, it was indeed very easy to get involved. Although some organizations, such as BSR and Choir, required try-outs for membership, there were enough non-competitive organizations to capture almost any interest. Involvement was also easy from he social standpoint. With the almost complete lack of boundary lines separating groups, many different groups could be found in just one club. The friends in clubs and activities always make it easy to fit in, commented Susie Tallman. Meeting new people helps you grow. BSR ' s drum line, with Tony Knight on symbols and Ken Sasaki and Chris Uribe on drums, brightens a lunch time pep rally. i organizations 177
