— Fall 26 DOUBLE ROYALTY Much to everyone’s surprize, Tarleton was to have two Homecom- ing Queens! The vote had ended in an exact tie. It seemed Tarleton students had not been able to choose between the two outstanding nominees Kenda Pettit and Carrie Byrd. Miss Byrd, Business Major from Millsap, and Miss Pettit, Management Ma- jor from Azle, were fea- tured in the parade and at the game on Satur- day. .. Spirits soar as students look to game Friday kept the spirit alive as students continued to beat the drum. Also, that night the Fine Arts Center was the location of Friday Night Live, the talent show that allowed students as well as alumni to participate. The night was ended as students in the snake dance made their way to the bonfire where the naming of the Homecoming Queen was to take place.
