Her Little Captains included Bonnie Laudan escorted by Ashley Lovell, Peggy Ditmar 'escorted by Don Quy, Susan Vfay escorted by John Yearwood, and Carolyn Price escorted by Atwood Cherry. Though some found the formal attire cumbersome, it still did not dampen their spirits as several of the hardier souls later demonstrated the alligator, Most of the danc- ing remained rather sedate, however.

Military Ball i- April Fool's Day hosted this year's Military Ball. The only Formal event of the whole year drew a large crowd. Of course the 325.00 prize offered to the club with the highest percentage of its members there also encouraged attend- ance. The E.T.E.R.N.A.S.'s treasury is now somewhat richer. CJ. and the Jewels provided music for everybody. There were waltzes for those who knew how, a little James Brown soul music and even a small dash of Country and West- ern. Hemlines Went to the floor and hairdos went fancy: The girls were even allowed a. 1:00 am. curfew.
