Administration Faculty and students of Hoggard have been able to say that this year has been one of the best since the founding year of 1967. The year saw many changes at J.T.H. Dr. Bellamy and the Board of Education—E. A. Laney, Ms. Vera W. Shands, Dr. John B. Codington, Victor Taylor, LaMar Mclver, and George T. Clark (inserted) faced different decisions from those of the past years. Snow presented the problem of making up the lost days. Graduation was postponed until June 8! Mr. Saus, who has worked for his first full year as principal of Hoggard, said that he wished he could get to know more of the students personally. Changes were made in the faculty and staff due to a new ruling, the teacher aide system was altered, but two came back under the ESEA program. Ms. Betty Curtis replaced Ms. Richards, and Ms. Linda Altobellis took over for Ms. Brigman Mr. Kenneth R. Stanley, resigned and Mr. Marvin Neuwirth joined the social studies staff. Ms. Sally Langdon, a junior English teacher, was replaced by Ms. Patricia A. Pheifer. Ms. Linda Goldman took Mr. Fred Rawlings’ place as a senior English teacher while Mr. Pratt filled the job as the official J.T.H. tennis coach. Ms. Mary J. Williams is now the geometry teacher in the place of Ms. Elizabeth H. Wilke. Mr. William B. Starling has the oceanography class of Mr. Claude McAllister. ' y ' 4) 5 + t N AAA | A
