oe SO NEVEVALL Hoggard crowd shows its approval. Butch Bowman pulls down a big rebound against Hanover. TT NR we Our J.V. team had a dis- appointing 7-11 record. They had a great deal of hustle, but they just could not seem to get everything together. Some of our more out- standing players this year were Mike Reid and Ron Smith. Other stand- outs were Jim Rouse and Carl McClain who were both moved up to the varsity squad. This loss of experience added to the hardship. Y 4 Bright spots of the y season were 2 wins over : New Hanover 47-43 and As 56-45. These wins really boosted our team even though they did not do so well overall. We are looking to the junior high for next years team. The pros- pects do not look bad; in fact the future looks good for the up-coming J.V. squad.
