QUILL AND SCROLL Outstanding abilities in the field of journalism are recognized at the annual induction of the Quill and Scroll, an honorary society open to recommended members of the newspaper and yearbook staffs. Highlighting the year is a dinner party when new members are welcomed in the club. Candles light the way for new members during the induction service at Shield’s Ice Cream Parlor.
