SUMMER IS OVER Orientation welcomed all sophomores and newcomers The first day of school— students catch up on the summer’s happenings All awaiting to settle down for either their LAST year at Hoggard, their second, or their first Changing classes is a thrill You get to smoke a cigarette, gripe about school, and meet up with your friends Hoggard’s head cheerleader tries to promote spirit into the Viking fans Our first fire drill, the only one announced, is a test of speed of the whole student body The time should be compared to the three-thirty-bell exit.
