Preston prepares for a collision .. . against Division I competition Mike Callahan, Most Valuable Player, All-East Honorable Mention selection. Although Hoggard failed to win a single game this year, the coaches praised the team’s efforts in the face of their shortcomings and the tough 4A competition. Injuries among key players hampered the Vikings’ efforts, also. But, having been blooded this year, Hoggard now possesses a knowledge of their competitors and an ache for revenge. Coupled with an impressive junior varsity squad and a renewed Viking spirit, Hoggard will be a team to watch out for next year.
