Advisory Committee The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to render recommendations for any disciplinary and administrative problems which may appear throughout the school year. They find solutions to situations which may become annoying or bothersome to the unit. The fact that they have only a few meetings during the year shows the fine quality of the Hoggard battalion. Sponsors The Hoggard NJROTC honorary cadet sponsors are chosen with three basic characteristics in mind. They must be a senior, maintain an academic average of 3.0 or above, and possess a high moral character. After their nomination, the cadets choose the sponsors of their choice. The top seven act as official sponsors for the battalion during the school year. In addition to performing with the cadets, they are invaluable in preparing for the NJROTC ball.
