President of the NCO Club: Cadet T. M. Blackburn The noncommissioned officers club is one consisting of the cadets with a rating lower than that of an ensign. The club is on a voluntary basis. In order to remain in good standing, a member must pay dues which are used to sponsor the NCO Club breakfast for the NJROTC Ball. USS Shethe While stationed at Wilmington the USS SHRIKE, a U.S. N. minesweeper, has provided several educational cruises tor the cadets. Approximately eight cadets are chosen for each cruise which leaves early Saturday morning and returns Sunday afternoon. While on the cruise the cadets are given the opportunity to receive a firsthand look at Navy life and to learn the functions and drills ot a minesweeper. Cadets W. O. Boykin, R. A. McDowell, W. E.
